Hello! Today I would like to tell you about a movie that I saw a month ago.
The movie is called "A Dogs Purpose"
This is the trailer

The movie went out on March 2017 in Israel (in Brazil it
went out on January) ,so you can still see it in the cinema. The movie is based on a book .

The movie is about a Golden Retriever puppy that was stuck in a garbage men's car who planned to sell him and went out to drink.
Ethan and his mom found this dog that was tired and thirsty. They broke the window's car and took the puppy home.

Ethan's dad did not like the idea to take the puppy home, but as time passed he saw that Ethan really likes the puppy.

Ethan decided to call the puppy "Bailey", and his nick name was "Boss Dog".Bailey and Ethan had a good time together. They played, hiked and had other funny and happy experiences together.

The time passed and Ethan grew up. Ethan fell in love with a girl. They spent all summer together- Ethan, Hannah and of course, Bailey. After the summer, Ethan got a football scholarship for the senior year. Ethan's father is drunk and fighting with his mom. After his dad became violent, Ethan forced him to leave the house. After a fire on their house, they had to move to his grandparent's farm, and Ethan broke up with Hannah.

Ethan needed to go to the university, and left Bailey with his mom. Bailey was really sad. He hardly ate and didn't want to play. Bailey became old and sick. Before the vet put him to sleep, he got to see Ethan again. Ethan said goodbye to Bailey and than he closed his eyes.

Bailey reincarnates into another dog life, a female German Shepherd Police dog named Ellie. Ellie's owner is a widow officer named Carlos. Carlos and Ellie were really close.
One day at work, Ellie was killed by a kidnap ,but she saved the kidnapped girl.

Ellie is reincarnates again into a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Tino. His owner is a lonely student who really likes food. She started dating her classmate, and Tino fell in love with Roxie, his female dog. After some time, they got married and had kids. Tino's life were really good, until one day that Roxie got into the car and never came back. Tino was really heartbroken. The time passed and Tino died.
Tino reincarnates again into a Bernard-Australian Shepherd mix named Waffles. His owner liked him as a puppy and brought him home to her boyfriend.

Her boyfriend didn't like the dog, so he dumped him in the yard.
Waffled grew up in the yard and became "less cute". One day the boyfriend wanted the dog wouldn't be with them, so he took Waffles and dropped him in the middle of the road. Waffles just walked and hoped that he would find a home. In the middle of the walk he smelled something... something that he smelled before. It was Ethan's house! He ran really fast with hope to see Ethan again. And then, he found him!!!
But... will Ethan recognize Bailey in another body? And how will Hannah go back to the story?
You will have to seen the movie to know the answers!
I think that this movie can show you that dogs are here for us ,and the most important lesson- Live now, in the future, and have a good time with your life.

Many people and especially parents don't understand why they should adopt a dog. They say "A dog is a huge mass" or "Its too much responsibility" and that is true, but dog at home can cause to many positive things.
So.. Why you should adopt a dog?
When you adopt a dog, you actually save his life. If after a while nobody adopt the dog, the shelter vets have to kill the dog ,because there isn’t enough place for all dogs.
To know more about the animals go to Nitzan's blog.

Another reason is that dogs give people company. There are a lot of lonely people who live alone, so their dog is like a family member for them because dogs give a lot of love to their owners.
Dogs teach people ,especially small kids, about responsibility. You have to walk the dog 3 times a day, you have to bring him food and water, you have to wash him... To do all of those you will have to be responsible. And the most important responsibility- you have to show him love.

A dog can be man’s best friend. He won't let you down and will always love you.
I hope that you learnt something new, and that I changed what you thought about adopting a dog!

Hey! Welcome back to my blog!Today I would like to tell you about guide dogs.Guide dogs are helping people with vision impairment and even blinds. The dog help the person to cross obstacle, roads and getting along in places the person doesn't know. In Israel, most of the guide dogs are Labrador breed and Golden retriever because of their natural wisdom. They are quick-paced, happy to help and adapt easily to a changing environment
But before the person own the dog there is a long process.

A guide dog is trained like any other puppy, with lots of repetitions and reinforcements. In the first year of his life he lives with a foster family. The family teaches him basic obedience and puts him in a human environment. When the dog is 18 months old, he returns to the center for guidance dogs and begins five months of training with an instructor. During this time he learns different skills, such as finding sidewalks and avoiding distractions along the way. When the dog passes this stage it is connected to the blind. The blind and the dog train together under the supervision of our counselors for three weeks at the center and another week at the blind man's home.

Because it is really expensive (about 100,000 shekels) , only 200 out of 23,000 blinds in Israel have a guide dog.

Hope you learnt something new about the guide dogs!

Last time we learnt that dogs can help people. Today I would like to tell you about the Police Dogs.
A police dog is a dog specially trained for police operations such as rescue, sniffing after explosives and catching criminals. The dogs are trained by specially trained units and run the dogs. The most common species of police dogs are German shepherds and Belgian shepherds, which are most common because of their availability.

The main purposes of use in dogs are
Drug detection.
Dog Attack / Save.
Detection of explosives
Locating bodies and searching for a lost person or object.

For dogs to be police dogs, they must first undergo a basic obedience training course. They must be able to obey the orders of the person responsible for them without hesitation. The officer has full control over the amount of force the dog needs to use against a suspect. Dogs trained in Europe usually receive commands in the local language of the country. Dogs are initially trained with this language for basic behavior, and therefore, it is easier for the officer to learn new words or commands, rather than redirecting the dog to new commands. This is contrary to the belief that the police dogs are trained in another language, so that a suspect can not control the dog against the officer.
Dogs used to help in law enforcement are trained to be either "one goal" or "dual purpose". One purpose dogs are primarily used for back-up, personal protection and surveillance. Dogs with a dual purpose, more trained. Dual-purpose dogs do everything as one-purpose dogs, and also identify explosives or drugs, but they can not be trained to identify both. Dogs can only be trained to identify only one substance that the dog can not communicate with the officer if he has found explosives or drugs. When a dog in the United States points out to the officer that he has found something, the officer has a reasonable suspicion of looking for what the dog warned him about ( bag or car) without warrant.

Hope you learnt something new!!!

Hello! Today I would like to tell you 9 facts about dogs!

1. A dog is as smart as a 2-year-old toddler.
There’s a reason why babies and puppies get along so well: they likely understand roughly the same number of words and gestures - 250!

2. Dogs and cats both slurp water the same way.
Dogs are such messy drinkers, but just like cats, they bend the tip of their tongue and raise liquid in a straight line to their mouths.

3. Dogs does have a sense of time - and misses you when you’re gone.
Dogs pick up on our routines and habits, and they also sense how much time has passed. One study showed how dogs responded differently to their owners being gone for different lengths of time.

4. Dog’s whiskers help him “see” in the dark.
Those whiskers pick up on even subtle changes in air currents, providing puppies with information about the size, shape, and speed of things nearby. This allows the dog to better sense approaching dangers or prey- even at night.

5. Dogs only have sweat glands in their paws.
They are found between their paw pads. They can help to wet the bottom of their feet on a hot day, and it’s also why dogs rely on panting as a means of cooling down.

6. On average, a dog’s mouth exerts 320 pounds of pressure.
The tests were done on a German shepherd, American pit bull terrier, and Rottweiler. In comparison, human beings exert 120 pounds of pressure, white sharks exert 600 pounds of pressure, and crocodiles exert a whopping 2,500 pounds of pressure! Dogs also have ten more adult teeth than humans - 42 versus 32.

7. Dogs sense of smell is 1,000 to 10 million times better than humans.
Depending on the breed, a dog has between 125 million to 300 million scent glands - compared to only 5 million for humans. And the part of dogs brain that controls smell is 40 times larger than yours - that’s true, even though the canine brain is much smaller than the human, relative to size. A human’s brain is about 1/40th of their body weight while a dog’s brain is only 1/125th.

9. Dogs can hear 4 times as far as humans.

Puppies may be born deaf, but they quickly surpass our hearing abilities. Dogs can also hear higher pitched sounds, detecting a frequency range of 67 to 45,000 hertz (cycles per second). The human range is from 64 to 23,000 hertz. In both dogs and humans, hearing range decreases with age.

9. A dog can smell your feelings.

A pup can pick up on subtle changes in your scent, which can help him figure out how you are feeling — such as by smelling your perspiration when you. become nervous or fearful. It’s also likely how dogs can detect certain diseases or know that a woman is pregnant.
